Fetcho (Fetcho, we, us) is operated by [Company Legal Name] (ABN [ABN]) of [Registered Address], Australia. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your access to and use of the Fetcho website and application (the Service).

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the date of birth you provide is accurate and that you meet this requirement. We may suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe belong to someone under 16.

The Service is currently intended for dog owners in Brisbane and South East Queensland, Australia. We do not guarantee the Service is appropriate or available for use in other locations.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@fetcho.au if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your own profile and your dog's profile — name, breed, age, vaccination status, and photos. Misrepresenting your dog's vaccination or health status is a serious breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension.

Fetcho is a platform that helps dog owners discover one another and arrange their own playdates. We do not vet, background-check, or verify users or their dogs beyond the information they choose to provide, and we do not supervise, organise, or take part in any playdate or meeting arranged through the Service.

Any playdate, meeting, or interaction you arrange with another user — including where and when you meet, and any interaction between your dog and theirs — is entirely at your own discretion and risk. We strongly recommend that you:

• Meet in a public place for the first time, such as a public park or dog park.
• Confirm both dogs are vaccinated and comfortable meeting new dogs beforehand.
• Supervise all interactions between dogs, especially on a first meeting.
• Trust your judgement, and end or decline a meeting if anything feels unsafe.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fetcho is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage — to you, another person, your dog, or another animal — arising from a meeting or interaction arranged through the Service.

You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your dog's identity, age, breed, or health.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse another user, in messages or in person.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose, including breeding or sale of animals, without our written consent.
• Upload content that is unlawful, obscene, or infringes another person's rights.
• Attempt to access another user's account, or interfere with or disrupt the Service.
• Scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect data from the Service using automated means.

You retain ownership of the photos, messages, and profile content you post. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You are responsible for content you post and confirm you have the right to share it (for example, photos you took yourself). We may remove content that breaches these Terms without notice.

The Service includes tools to report and block other users. Reports are reviewed by us and may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent removal from the Service. Blocking another user will end any active match between you.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or used the Service in a way that could harm another user, their dog, or Fetcho. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate, including hosting and database infrastructure, authentication, and email delivery. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' own terms where relevant (for example, if you sign in with Google).

The Service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fetcho's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to [AUD amount / re-supply of the Service], and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or an in-app notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
